I think this is the first time I have ever agreed with anything Air-ran has said. Viers could be the best in the area if he could become a more complete player all the tools are there he just has to bring it together. I think you will see Logan get his act together this year. Holding back was a good thing for him I think you will see him have an awesome year and he is my pre-season vote for district player of the year.

Hey man there is a first time for everything man! I have a better idea of Basketball than i do freaking football but i love both. I think Viers is a good ball player do not get me wrong but he can not carry a team and that is plain and simple he has fed off of good players around him for years now and is merely a gun i feel and a good one at that, but he will shoot you out and shoot you in a game. Logan will be alright if he gets his head on straight like i said and with Goodman as a assistant that will be much more probable. I think he is a really good player but his attitude sucks at times because he goes on with a lot of ignorance and lets him self get carried away and loses his head and where he is. That being said he looked good in the camps and also one can't forget that Lester will be a force too down low with that wide body along with Baldwin who may wnd up being TV's best player, but i still look for KT to be the guy that makes alot of noise this year.

Council is definitely not one of the top 5 teams in the region........All they have is Barton, Epling, and the exchange student, none of which can flat out win the ballgame for council if you shut one or two down then the game is yours. Twin Valley will be nearly impossible to beat as they have a dominant inside game as well as sharpshooters from the outside. Haysi will be better than most think because while they do not have jacob colley, they will play more as a team this year and i believe will really come together. There are many players for them that can really step it up this year. Ryan Jones (one of the best athletes around) definitely cannot be left out as he will definitely do some damage. Honaker and Hurley will suck. The End

Hence the word "possibly" in reference to Viers. He plays better defense than what people think...he is not a physical type defender but he gets in passing lanes really well and will probably be among area leaders in steals. He has the ability to be a good passer but probably isn't going to do alot of that because he will be relied up on too much as a scorer.

Jones is not a good basketball player, i am sorry he throws up a three here and there but he is a really good football player but not a basketball player, like i said he will hit a three here and there but as for anything else from what i seen last season he is not a threat to win a game either as you stated about he kids from Council. DJ and the Epling kid are both worlds ahead of Jones in the B-Ball area.

Well hell the almighty has spoken. I think the quote was that Jones was one of the best athletes in the area and would do so damage? Well i do not see it that way i only saw him contribute from the 3 point line and that was about it, i never saw stellar D and i never saw and thing else to make me think he was a good basketball player. You think what you want goinbred but i for one think you need to pry your lips from his ass. Wake up bro the kid above said that the 3 kids from Council was not going to win anyone a ball game well i beg to differ in fact that is where it is total stupidity to state that. I guess council is not going to win a damn game if none of those guys can win a game for you because that is all of their top players. So those three cant win you a game but Jones can? Give me a break. You keep on living in your little world where you are always right bro but you will see come B-Ball time that while Jones will score off of trash he collects from Viers missed shots around the basket he is no more than average at best in the basketball area. Very good baseball pitcher and great RB but mediocore at basketball. But hey he does play hard and goes all out so that is more than i can say for most kids with the same talent level in this particular sport.

You forgot amazing linebacker. Probably one of the best in the region. Saying he isn't a great athelete is insane. Jones excels in any sport he plays. So what if he's not the quickest basketball player out there? Neither was Jordan Compton and he was a great b-ball player.
